Christ Church will host a one day
symposium on Holy Scripture beginning at 9:00AM on
Saturday, January 14, 2012. The symposium is designed to provide church leaders, Sunday school
teachers, small group leaders and seekers with knowledge on the unity, relevancy, power and authority of
Scripture. Teachers will include
Marc Robertson,
senior pastor Christ Church, Allan Bosson,
senior minister, Southside Baptist Church,
Terry Johnson, senior minister, Independent
Presbyterian Church
, and Cam Huxford, senior minister, Savannah Christian Church.
The Honorable Major Harding, Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme
Court
retired and current Chancellor of the Atlantic Gulf Coast Diocese of the Anglican Church, will
present a luncheon talk entitled, "The Bible in my Life." Justice Harding was Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court during the Bush/Gore election and delivered the famous "Hanging Chad" opinion which resulted in the Bush victory.
The symposium will be held at the Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm Street in downtown Savannah. The $35 registration fee includes all of the talks, lunch and a symposium resource notebook The participating ministers have graciously agreed that any
proceeds from the symposium will be donated to the Christ Church Gospel Defense Fund. Registration
